An illustrated Bobby Moynihan from an episode of Rick and Morty

Bobby Moynihan

You know who is very funny and always a delight to see whenever he shows up in something? Bobby Moynihan. Yes, Ass Dan himself. I just finished The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins and while Tracy Morgan is predictably absurd and Daniel Radcliffe is reliable in everything, Bobby Moynihan gives, by far, the most hilarious performance of the show (or in any show so far this year). It just got renewed for season 2 which is fantastic news. He’s also a prolific voice actor who voiced Louie in the DuckTales reboot, another great show. This seems like as good a time as any to share my super important DuckTales mnemonic device. If your life ever depends on remembering which duck nephew is which color—and it definitely will—simply think of Ruth Bader Ginsburg aka RBG aka Red, Blue, Green (if you understandably think of RGB you’ve made a wrong turn!) aka Huey (Red), Dewey (Blue) and Louie (Green).

Utz Trending Down

I regret to inform you that a once great line of potato chips, Utz brand Sour Cream & Onion Ripple Potato Chips, has taken quite a noticeable dive in quality. Maybe I got a bad batch and got shortchanged on magic chip dust but the most recent bag I had really wasn’t hitting. Trader Joe’s Garlic Butter Irish Potato Chips, on the other hand, are delicious and rising in my potato chip pantheon. I only occasionally treat myself to a bag of chips but every now and then, “I Recommend Eating Chips”.

I Found It: The Best Free Restaurant Bread in America

Staying on the topic of carbs, this is an entertaining and exceptionally well-written article from The Atlantic that I read a few weeks ago. A bit lengthy but a satisfying and worthwhile read.

That gift link from the author’s Bluesky post is expired but hopefully you are resourceful enough to find a way to access it. What starts as a knowingly trifling exercise turns into a meditation of something more personal and profound (that still delivers on the article’s promise).
