I have writer’s block so here are some lists. There is too much TV and I watched too much of it last year (and I still might watch even more this year). The first list is limited to my five favorite shows of 2025 starting with the favorite, then the next list is good shows in no particular order and then some other shows and so on.

I didn’t get around to watching everything I wanted to (e.g. Pluribus or the new season of King of the Hill) and some things I watched I didn’t feel like adding to keep this somewhat brief. The Pitt was an easy choice for my favorite show last year and luckily, as I write this on the eve of the season 2 premiere, the (thankfully-not-so-long) wait for new Dr. Robby sad adventures (sadventures?) is over.

Reflecting on my decision to format this at the last second on a whim 🤔. Was it really necessary to add text color to each series corresponding to what streaming platform it can be found on? Probably not. It’s quite easy to find out where a show is streaming and also ^†this information is only known to be accurate for streaming in the United States as of the writing of this post so it’s not necessarily guaranteed to be accurate. Is it at least potentially useful and did it give me an excuse to add color to an otherwise monotone post out of boredom? Probably yes, so ultimately “I think it’s a good idea, and I stand by”.
